Navigating loss, change, and everything in between…
Grief is not only the response we experience when someone dies.
It is the normal, natural response to any significant loss - whether that is a beloved pet, a job, a community facing disaster, or the quiet fading of our hopes and dreams.
Resilience expert Dr Lucy Hone calls these moments "BFTs" (bloody f***g things). Personally, I call it "when shit happens." No matter how you describe the unexpected bumps and caverns along your road, you don't have to navigate them alone.
There are practical ways of thinking, acting, and being that can support you through this journey. Together, we will identify and develop your unique set of tools and strategies, learning how and when to use them. My goal is to help you protect your own wellbeing while showing up for the people you love.
This framework is grounded in proven grief and bereavement models, drawing heavily from Dr Lucy Hone’s acclaimed work in Resilient Grieving.
“it is possible to live and grieve at the same time. It’s not easy, it’s not pretty, it’s not what we wanted... but it is possible”
— Dr Lucy Hone (Resilient Grieving)
